Industrial Grade:
(1) Azelaic acid plasticizers are excellent cold-resistant plasticizers.
It is suitable for artificial leather, films, sheets, wire and cable sheaths, etc.
(2) Diester lubricants such as octyl azelate, decyl ester and tridecane have good viscosity-temperature characteristics and high viscosity index.
It is mainly used in aviation turbine engine lubricating oil, precision instrument oil, synthetic compressor oil, automobile engine oil, metal processing oil, synthetic grease base oil and plastics, chemical fiber and other fine chemical fields.
(3) Azelaic acid is used for synthetic fiber.
(4) Adding high-purity azelaic acid or its salts to the electrolyte of electrolytic capacitors can significantly increase the service life of electrolytic capacitors.
The electrolyte composed of ethylene glycol/phosphoric acid/water can produce aluminum electrolytic capacitors with low current leakage and high spark current.
(5) Azelaic acid has applications in perfumes, oils, corrosion inhibitors, flocculants, flame retardants and stabilizers, lubricants, and raw materials for polyamide resins.
